How investment scams work.

A stranger or private group leads you to a fake trading site. It shows gains, but never gives your money back.

Three warning signs

  1. The offer promises high or sure returns with little risk.
  2. A stranger moves you into a private chat or trading group.
  3. The site shows a balance but asks for more money before you can withdraw.

This made-up message uses a known scam pattern. It shows no real person, firm, or email.

Why it works

Small payments and fake profits build trust. When you try to withdraw, a new tax or fee blocks the way.

What to do now

  1. Send no more money. Do not pay a tax or fee to unlock the balance.
  2. Check the firm and seller with your finance regulator.
  3. Call your bank and report the fraud. Keep wallet IDs, transfer records, chats, and images.
