How it learns from you
One correction, and the model changes. All of it on your Mac.
It decides Every message gets a verdict and a confidence, both on screen. Nothing hides behind a score you cannot see.
You disagree Move the message where it belongs, Junk to Inbox or the other way, in Mail or in Klar Plus itself. That is the whole correction: no form, no reporting, nothing leaves the Mac.
It retrains, then re-checks Your correction teaches the model, within the minute in Klar Plus and overnight for a message you moved in Mail. The nightly pass also re-scores what it had already judged, without re-filing it: nothing moves in your mailbox unless you move it.

It reads every word and can repeat none
A spam filter is only as good as what it is allowed to see. Only your own mail can teach it that this stranger is a real customer and this colleague must never land in Junk. So Klar Plus asks for all of it, and gives up the three things that would make that a bad idea.
- It cannot talk.
- It does not write, chat or answer questions. It reads a message and returns one number: how likely it is to be spam. A model that can only score has no way to repeat what it read.
- Nothing leaves your Mac.
- The model runs on your machine, and so does everything it learns from. Klar Plus keeps your messages on disk, compressed and capped at 2 GiB, in a container macOS shares only between Klar's own apps. No message, subject or address is sent anywhere.
- The network is used three times, never for mail.
- A licence check, model updates and a version check. None of the three carries your mail. The full list is on the local-first page.
