Gmailify is shutting down
Google is switching off Gmailify. Keep the spam filter.
Gmailify put Google's spam protection on your non-Gmail accounts. It's going away: new sign-ups stop after Q1 2026, and existing links go dark in January 2027. Klar filters that same mail on your Mac, on-device.
Get Klar for Apple MailWhat you lose when Gmailify ends
Gmailify routed your Outlook, Yahoo or other inbox through Google so you'd get Gmail's spam protection on it. Once it's gone, those accounts fall back to a plain IMAP connection, with no Google spam filtering, just the provider's own. If you switched to Gmailify because the spam got through, it comes back.

Read your accounts in Apple Mail
Add your Outlook, Yahoo, iCloud or IMAP accounts to Apple Mail on your Mac. Klar classifies every incoming message right there, with no need to route mail through Google.
- 02
Filtered on your Mac, not in the cloud
Klar's model runs on-device. Nothing is forwarded to Google or to us. The mail never leaves your machine, which is more than Gmailify ever offered.
- 03
It learns from your corrections
Move a message to or from Junk and Klar adapts to what you call spam. It's the part of Gmailify you'll actually miss, kept local.
The honest fit
Klar is an Apple Mail extension for macOS. If you read your other accounts in Apple Mail, Klar filters them locally. It does not run inside Gmail's web app or the Gmail mobile app. If that's where you read mail, Klar isn't your replacement.
Don't lose the spam filter with Gmailify.
Klar is free, runs on your Mac, and needs no account. Set it up before January 2027 and the switch-off won't reach your inbox.
