Spam filtering for your texts.

Klar for Messages opens to early testers soon. Leave your email and we will tell you the day it does.
It runs inside Messages, on your phone.
Your iPhone lets an app sort texts from numbers that are not in your Contacts. Klar is that app. It reads the text on the phone, picks where it belongs, and Messages files it there.
Anyone in your Contacts is never touched. Klar only ever sees texts from senders you do not know.
Every text lands where it should.
- Everything else
- A first text from a new number stays in your inbox.
- Transactions
- Verification codes, delivery updates and receipts, kept together.
- Promotions
- Sales and marketing, out of the way but not lost.
- Junk
- Scams and smishing go straight to Junk, out of your inbox.

No message to hand? Try one of these.
This runs in your browser, no text is sent anywhere, and it is the same filter the iPhone app uses.
It tells a real code from a fake one.
The dangerous texts look almost real: a delivery that needs a small fee, a bank alert, an account about to be locked. Klar is trained on thousands of them and sends them to Junk.
A genuine verification code goes to Transactions. A phishing text that hides a code to steal your login goes to Junk. That difference is the point.
Nothing leaves your phone unless you switch it on.
Klar decides on your iPhone by default. If you enable the optional cloud check, iOS sends only uncertain unknown-sender texts to klar.im; we store neither the sender nor the text. No account is required, and you can switch it off at any time.
